I’m a cultivator, I love growing, but don’t partake. I do it for my wife for medical reasons. I have been growing over 13 years, this is my second year growing wedding cake, my plants all exceed over 6.5′ and around 6’wide. I grow directly in ground, after harvest, I spread chicken shit from our coop throughout the rest of year and up to February. My wife loves this strain, she makes edibles from making butter. She has fibromyalgia, and other pain issues and used to be on drugs as potent as oxycodone, now only cannabis.

pH isn’t like PPM where you raise it to find the plants sweet spot. It’s good to swing it within its range to help it get as much nutrients it can within that range.
You want the Trichomes to be between cloudy & amber depending on the effects you want.
So, if they’re still clear than harvesting it in two days will still give very little THC in the end.
You need to wait till they’re cloudy before you even think of harvesting.
Although I prefer growing from seed, a friend gave me a wedding cake clone. After 9 weeks flowering / 10 days drying I ground up a buddy, twisted a dubie, took two hits and MELTED! I started smokin tie-stick in 1969 and 3.5 oz I harvested will be memorable (if I have any brain cells left ;-)__

Stress In this stage can cause what every grower dont want to happen . Strain is hermaphrodite prone under high stress . found this out hard way took out half garden . I have several clomes of tbis strain currently in 3 to 5 gallon buckets that i am about to transplant into the ground. I live in the northeast so I am interested to see how tbis temperate strain will hold up in the last few weeks bf harvest whem the temp will likely be considerably lower than the optimal 70 degrees that this atraim is accustomed too. I have topped the plants several times amd supercropped some as well to compare the yield of no training, supwrcropping, toping, amd super-toppimg. I will follow up this comment come harvest time to let everyone know if the strain can withhold lower Temp the .onth bf harvest. So far the plants look healthy and beautidul.

Robert i am on my second run of wedding cake indoors and have to say i like the flavor. Took me a minute to see just what each plant wanted of me cause all 4 clones i had had different wants. Had a bit of trouble with mites but got them gone by harvest.
