Kushadelic Strain

One look at its name Kushadelic is enough for cannabis fans to form a conclusion on how it works. Most likely, it boasts of the raw potency of Kush and because of that, it can induce a psychedelic experience. While the first part on potency is correct, the strain is far from any extreme psychoactive experiences. Instead, think of it like a rocket the works in three stages.

Bred by Soma Sacred Seeds, Kushadelic is a cross between G13 Haze and OG Kush.

Fans of OG Kush are well aware of the premium experience it delivers. By combining its genetics with G13 Haze, the Indica traits that have made both hybrids well-known in the cannabis scene is retained. But the new strain also inherited the clear-headed high and uplifting buzz of the Haze family.

Effects

Kushadelic is a mostly Indica strain, but never underestimate the cerebral high that it induces. Not that it is of epic proportion, but it is certainly pronounced.

At the onset, the strain induces an uplifting sensation that clears the mind. Users tend to have a sharper focus and at this point, are able to complete tasks. Feeling good about themselves, finding inspiration seems to be easier too as the strain can boost creative thinking.

Kushadelic Effects
Kushadelic Effects

As alluded to earlier, Kushadelic works in three stages. Soon after the pleasant cerebral high, the heavy Indica effects creep into the body. The numbing buzz makes users feel completely relaxed and unlikely to keep on staying active. In most cases, users find themselves in a couch-lock as they go into deep introspection.

Finally, even before the effects of Kushadelic completely leaves the body, most people feel tired after an intense but relaxing high. As such, drowsiness sets in and most end up falling asleep.

Fragrance

Kushadelic emits a pungent odor that fills up the room as soon as its container is opened. Fortunately, the smell of earth with a skunky and floral note is pleasant enough for most people.

Flavors

Better than how it smells, the smooth smoke produced by the strain boast of a sweet note of berry and pine. Upon inhaling, users should find its floral earthiness a delight. Traces of its Haze lineage is evident upon exhaling with its spicy and citrusy note.

Adverse Reaction

Compared to many other strains, Kushadelic has less pronounced adverse effects. It does not mean that users are not going to experience any of the typical reactions, though.

The typical adverse effects associated with its use are dry mouth and dry eyes. In case a person did overuse or exceed individual tolerance limit, other conditions such as having a headache or feeling paranoid may occur.

Medical

For many people using cannabis for medical reasons, the trick is knowing how much of a particular strain one should be using. For instance, Kushadelic used in minimal amounts can induce physical relaxation. It can also promote deep thoughts.

An insomniac, for example, needs a strain that helps them sleep. To do that, all it takes is a few more tokes, and Kushadelic induces a heavy couch-lock. Even as one goes into deep introspection, the body ebbs in a sea of relaxing sensation. Before even knowing it, these users are likely already sleeping.

At the same time, much of the relaxation is induced by strong anti-inflammatory and sedative-like traits. Consequently, many medical cannabis users use it to deal with inflammation as well as find relief from chronic pains and aches.

A strain that can induce a calm euphoria followed by deep body relaxation is also one that tends to enhance the mood. For this reason, people who feel too much pressure can find relief from the daily stress of life.

Finally, before even its effects completely subside, most people tend to feel drowsy as mentioned. But many also feel hungry. So, if the purpose is to stimulate the appetite, then these users will have to determine just how much they should use so that they do not feel too overwhelmed by the physical effects that stop them from getting up to eat some food.

Growing

Experts and cannabis agree that when it comes to the plant structure and its appearance, Kushadelic exhibits both qualities of Sativa and Indica. However, as the plant reaches maturity, it starts leaning towards the Sativa side such as having long and slender leaves. While it thrives in an outdoor environment, it is actually best grown indoors.

Flowering Time

Indoors

Growers opting to cultivate Kushadelic indoors need to prepare for a plant that grows up to between 1-1/2 to 3 feet tall. Because the idea is to keep it short and bushy, that means there is more work to do when planting it in a small and tight space. For example, trimming the leaves regularly is a must and so is making sure that there is adequate ventilation. It is not only because of venting heat from the habitat but also ensuring that there is proper moisture, especially in the covered parts.

Because it grows more like a Sativa, the flowering time can only begin on the 10th to 11th week. After months of cultivation, each square meter can produce around 7 to 9 ounces of buds.

Outdoors

Surprisingly, even it Kushadelic follows the Sativa structure; it rarely grows beyond 6-1/2 feet tall. It begins transitioning to the bloom stage between the second and third week of October. Each plant, then, can have a yield of at least 9 ounces of buds. The fact that it is not a heavy producer makes it so much more precious.
