Shiva marijuana seeds will produce plants that are powerful to say the least. In fact, the name of the variety comes from the Hindu god known simultaneously as the “Transformer” and the “Destroyer.” It’s not likely to produce destructive effects on your body, but the highs can certainly be transformative.
Shiva counts some of the most famous marijuana strains as part of its pedigree including Northern Lights and Skunk. Obviously, there’s a lot to like about Shiva, even if the inspiration for the name might be a little off-putting.

Shiva smoking effects

The powerful high that this indica-dominant strain provides isn’t exactly overpowering. Obviously, the indica characteristics come out in full force, providing a dense, relaxing stone that puts your body at ease. This is obviously something that’s ideal if you’re just looking to relax or chill out. The scent and flavor of this variety are “exotic” in a sense. You can make out little accents of cardamom spice that are pleasant and relaxing. The entire experience of the smoke is one that is calming and enjoyable.
Shiva plant features

One of the best things about the Shiva strain is that it’s incredibly resilient in the face of the elements. It can withstand heat and cold so that you don’t have to worry too much about it in somewhat harsh outdoor environments. It’s also remarkably well-adapted to thriving on its own with very little human intervention. Mold and fungal diseases are neutralized by the strength of Shiva.
It takes only about 7 to 9 weeks to flower completely, and, by the end, you’ll have a nice combination of small, hard buds with dark green leaves. October is when these plants should be harvested. Each plant should produce about 18 ounces of usable smoke with an 18% level of THC. The plants also don’t get very high (between 20 and 40 inches), so you can afford to keep them outside in a place where they won’t be seen. This is an ideal strain to grow outside if you are just starting to grow. You can also get feminized Shiva marijuana seeds if needed.
Shiva medicinal use

Shiva’s long-lasting, dense buzz allows it to be useful for a number of different patients. It often works as a pain reliever because it suppresses the effects of any constant pain. It’s also incredibly calming, meaning that anxiety and depression can also be treated well. Of course, the relaxation associated with Shiva also means that insomniacs will find some relief.
