For an out-of-this-world experience, look no further than Miracle Alien Cookies, aka MAC. This evenly balanced cultivar from Capulator has an intensity that’ll send you soaring through the stratosphere in no time. (Not to be confused with MAC 1, the much more intense offspring of a MAC backcross).

MAC strain genetics
So you know that Capulator (aka Capulator) created the MAC strain, but it almost didn’t happen? Legend has it Cap crossed Starfighter with a Colombian Gold landrace before putting the seeds in the washing machine. Accidentally, the 15th seedling survived. Aptly named Miracle 15, the surviving cultivar was crossed with Alien Cookies, and Miracle Alien Cookies was born.
The takeaway? Always, always, always check your pockets – and never give up on your dreams.
Is MAC strain indica or sativa?
Speaking of dreams, Miracle Alien Cookies achieves a balance that cannabis fantasies are made of. Its 50:50 indica-to-sativa ratio delivers an uplifting mental euphoria with a deeply relaxing physical stone to keep you grounded as your mind wanders free.

Growing MAC strain
Finding MAC strain seeds can be tricky, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. MAC responds well to various training techniques, but its relatively slender growth pattern makes it the perfect candidate for Sea of Green (SOG). By packing many plants close together, SOG helps you to generate a smooth, even canopy and reduce the time it takes to reach harvest.
If growing multiple individual plants isn’t an option, you can use monster-cropping, manifolding, or topping techniques. These methods increase bud production by helping plants bush out and develop more bud sites. They’ll need time to recover their growth after each trim, which means you’ll wait longer for harvest, but you’ll be rewarded for your patience with more buds.
It’s not uncommon for plants this tall to drain all the nutrients from their soil, so you’ll need to pay extra attention to that. Monitor your soil levels and your plant’s leaves regularly to keep conditions just right.
MAC strain flowering time
Miracle Alien Cookies thrives most outdoors, but you can grow indoors if you have space to accommodate its height. MAC grows up to 5ft indoors and closer to 8ft outside.
Your growing method of choice will influence the overall flowering time, but it averages around 7 weeks indoors. Outdoors, it’ll be ready to harvest in early October if you’re growing in the Northern Hemisphere.
MAC strain autoflowering time
The autoflowering version of MAC strain, like most autoflowers, starts blooming very early. Because it doesn’t require light deprivation to start flowering, expect the first buds to appear after four to six weeks. MAC strain autoflowers can be harvested after ten to fourteen weeks. That makes its (auto)flowering time between four and ten weeks long.
MAC strain yield
The average yield of any cannabis plant depends on several factors, including the skill of the cultivator, growing conditions, strain genetics, and size and health of the plant. It also differs between photoperiod and autoflower plants. However, you can use general estimates as a potential yield per plant guideline.
For photoperiod plants, this is 16-64 ounces (450-1814 grams) outdoors and 8-24 ounces (227-680 grams) indoors.
MAC strain autoflower yield
The potential yield per plant for autoflowering plants is 1.7-7 ounces (50-200 grams) outdoors and 1.7-4.2 ounces (50-120 grams) indoors.

MAC strain effects
It’s love at first toke with MAC.
According to consumers, MAC’s effects kick in almost immediately, filling your head with a third-eye-opening euphoria that’ll transport your mind and inspire creative thinking. As the uplifted cerebral high swells, the body high eases in. Starting with tingles that build in your scalp and pour downwards, MAC relaxes every muscle in its path.
Unlike the heavily sedating MAC 1, consumers say Miracle Alien Cookies leaves you relaxed but functional. You may even be motivated to do low-effort tasks, like arts and crafts or catching up with friends. And as the comfortable, lazy feeling spreads to your fingers and toes, you’ll be happy, content, and stress-free.

How strong is MAC strain?
The MAC weed strain THC levels average around 23%, making this potent cultivar a surefire hit for experienced smokers. If you’re still a newbie or have a low THC tolerance, try Agent Orange or Cannatonic instead.
You can expect MAC to come with some cottonmouth and dry eyes, so keep water and eyedrops on hand. Its intense high can also cause dizziness, and consumers say the mind-extending sensation can become disorienting if you consume too much at once. But as long as you pace yourself, you’ll find MAC manages to knock your socks off while remaining an even hybrid. If you’re into heavy hitters, try one of these next.
MAC strain terpenes
MAC strain reviews are filled with consumers praising the cultivar’s therapeutic effects and delectable flavors. The hybrid has even won multiple awards since entering the cannabis world, including Best Overall Rec Flower at the 2020 Connoisseur Cup (submitted by High Level Health).
That’s all in large part thanks to its terpene profile, which sources say includes mainly limonene, pinene, caryophyllene, and terpinolene, with trace amounts of bisabolol, linalool, cymene, humulene, ocimene, and myrcene. But what does that mean in terms of flavor?
Aroma & Flavor
Miracle Alien Cookies is a classic, dank strain of kush.
Though you’ll detect undertones of sweet citrus and spice, its scent has a heavy diesel body with pungent notes of sour citrus that linger for hours. This carries through to the taste, which features earthy flavors marked by intense lemon diesel and dank yet spicy overtones. Though it hits the taste buds with less intensity than it does the nose, its flavor is more than enough to please fans of original flavors.

Learn more about the MAC strain
At the 2018 Dope Cup in Oregon, MAC (Cap’s cut) was runner-up for Best Indoor Grown Hybrid. Considering 1st place went to MAC 1, it’s fair to say MAC dominated the category. No wonder breeders like Anesia Seeds and GibbsKutz have added this hybrid to their repertoire. And so should you. But if you’re not one for spending ages sourcing a strain, these hybrids are only a click away.

great info and very helpful. something i would recomend though would be adding the time the plant starts to kick outdoors. This is helpful in determining when to change the plants nutrients to accommodate its transformation to flowering.
