Bred by Sweet Seeds, the fragrance of Sweet Cheese is by design as the breeder is notable for hybrids that are a delight to the senses. Perhaps a part of the reason for the underwhelming Cheese flavors is that it was used to infuse some of its characteristics into Black Jack – a strain known for its long-lasting Indica effects.

In combining the genetics of both parent strains, Sweet Cheese retains the same Indica traits of Black Jack. However, the infusion of Cheese genetics allows it to induce a more intense cerebral high during the onset.

Effects
Compared to Black Jack, Sweet Cheese has less THC. Still, it still has above-average potency. As such, users should never underestimate it, or in some cases, overestimate one’s tolerance.

At its onset, a rapid and vigorous rush flows into the mind and body. As an uplifting sensation begins to spread from the head to the body, happiness begins setting in leaving users feeling quite cheerful. Often, a keen sense of focus follows the clear-headed high induced by the strain.

Depending on the amount of herb consumed, the cerebral buzz can be very intense but not crippling. Its users, feeling energized, will have no problem completing tasks. Thanks to the Indica properties of the strain, it serves as an anchor that keeps the psychedelic high in check. Otherwise, it may become overbearing in that it causes extreme narcotic-like effects.
Fragrance
As mentioned earlier, Cheese strains often emit the scent of sour cheese. Sweet Cheese is different in that it produces a sweet and spicy note that blends with its earthy aroma.
Flavors
Upon combustion, the taste of matured cheese becomes evident. Mostly, its fragrance carries over, but it also has a more herbal quality.
Adverse Reaction
Sweet Cheese can do a lot of wonders for the mind and the body. However, it also comes with a few adverse effects.

One thing that users will want to be aware of is that using Sweet Cheese is likely to induce a degree of anxiousness or paranoia. Obviously, how anxious one feels is proportional to how much one used. But there are also some people who may use it in moderation and still have the same experience.
Other than that, most people do end up having dry eyes and dry mouth. Some may even have a mild headache or slight dizziness. These are typical with the use of marijuana.
Medical
Much of the pharmacological value of Sweet Cheese is because of its psychedelic effects. In other words, the compounds in the herb itself mostly do not have a bearing on specific illnesses (except CBD and a few others). But it is the effects delivered that provides relief or comfort to the users.

For instance, in uplifting and inducing happiness, it follows that stress melts away. It means that people who have emotional issues such as depression could use it to seek relief from the negativity.

Because the mind is focused on the joyful bliss, minor pains become ignored. In that sense, it may help with mild cases. Of course, that is not to say that Sweet Cheese does not contain compounds that help. Although its Indica side is small, it still has analgesic properties for instance.
After an intense experience, most of the time, users feel a little tired during the comedown. Hence, it is normal to feel drowsy. Some people may choose to use this strain to complete tasks in the late afternoon before settling down during the evening.

Growing
Sweet Cheese has long, thin buds surrounded by olive green leaves with sturdy branches. It grows equally well outdoors, indoors, or in a greenhouse. Although it is a mostly Sativa plant, its structure is that of Indica in that it is short and bushy.
Flowering Time
Indoors
For indoor growing, the hybrid starts to produce flowers in 8 to 9 weeks from germination. Growers can expect a bountiful harvest of 14 to 20 ounces per square meter. Because of the intense aroma of Sweet Cheese, the smell can extensively spread over an entire area. With that, it would be good to install odor control filters to keep one’s operations private.
Outdoors
In an outdoor setting, Sweet Cheese generally grows well in a nice and warm climate. By the second week of October, the plant begins flowering. During harvest, it brings in an incredible yield of 12 to 20 ounces per plant.
