Although it is possible to grow Black Domina outdoor in a sunny and Mediterranean climate, it is not advisable. Rather, expert growers suggest that this cannabis strain is better suited for indoor growing using hydroponics.
It is especially adaptable and responds well to the Sea of Green (SOG) method.
For first time growers, Black Domina is a good strain to start with as it is easy enough to grow. This hybrid features a large cola with heavy resin-covered dark colored buds. Its size is perfect for most indoor growing tents as it grows up to only 4-1/2 feet tall.

have three in a small cupboard keeping them at 2 and half feet but using the low stress bending technique, but with fishing hooks a lil bit of line and small sinker at the bottom, that way i can ust unhook and hook on other rods that need to be pulled down away and into thw light again. i am going to get a very good yeild.

I originally purchased this BD seed for indoors, but instead decided to try it outdoors.
Here in Zone 8, plants can go 9 weeks, 65-67 days MAYBE, on average, so having a plant that finishes at the end of September is perfect.
11 of 12 feminized seeds sprouted, 1 runt, 10 ended up growing out. Identifying this strains sex is interesting; several are TALL – 5 feet (3)- currently in 3-gallon smart pots. I am actually amazed at the size as from what i’d read, this was not supposed to happen (unless male.) So this strain varies from shorter, silky females with medium-sized stalks (which may be the reason they recommend this be grown indoors? as they will need to be staked once transplanted from the final time, with the main stem tied to a bamboo stake for wind protection.) Also, *what I believed to be* 3 males (due to their stretching & thick stalks) as now appear to be (showing) female. ?? I won’t know for certain until August, but from what I’m seeing these all have female characteristics. I mean, I guess it would make sense as all seeds were raised the exact same, non-stressed, indoor clone box to 1-gallon smart pots outdoor @ ^ 3-gallon sp transplant; this plant is small and burley enough where honestly a 20-gallon pot will be plenty, more like a 15-gallon would be perfect. But I have to note here: if these 5′ tall super-thick stalked main plants turns out to be female, then holy moly- what a plant specimen. It WILL work outdoors for hardiness, but I will also add some silicone as part of my outdoor feeding schedule (modified indoor.) I seriously have dinner plate-sized fan leaves. I have pictures. Unbelievably beautiful to watch grow. Holy Moly. The other smaller females (5) , still at 4′ now, they are going into from a 5-gallon to 10-gallon smart pots as part of the strain tests I’m running. If I saw straight male characteristics beyond growth pattern, I would have no problem culling them, but dang as a word of caution, if you have the time and start your seed early enough, make sure you can grow them out & take a clone for sexing. I actually did do this, but the amount of time afforded was 1 clone batch only; 9 of 10 rooted, but only 5 grew out, and honestly it sucked- normally I’d have had these running a month earlier, and the plants a few weeks older before taking decent clones . I was working with 10-12” clones- not cool. THUS… my story about having to sex outdoors. I was out there every day for a few weeks with my magnifying glass! Anyway that’s it for now, but my long time gardeners instinct tells me this should be a good run. One thimg, though, be sure to add an Einstein-oil w/surficant treatment using a sprayer. The bugs seemed to like the lower leaves, so I sprayed them late June and will again mid-July for a nice leaf-shine nitrogen boost. I will take pictures weekly starting mid July. For being in a 3-gallon loose soil smart pot, these things are going nuts! (well hopefully not nuts, er pistols!)
