I guess it was beginner’s luck a close friend grew one last year. It was harvested a bit early but was 12 feet+tall and yielded about 35 ounces. It’s almost a year cured and it is really nice despite the early harvest

I have a perpetual Grow of Chemdawg.
Each week I cut clones, plant rooted clones, Flip vegged plants, and harvest plants. Chemdawg is very difficult to clone. Even with 47 years of experience growing cannabis.
Indoor under T5 for Veg and a 1,800 Watt Cree COB LED for Bud. It has tested at 28.2%THC .091CBD. The led’s have IR & UV chips that raise the THC level by 3-5%!
I grew Chemdawg from Humbolt County seeds. Basically, it was a very easy grow. I have never seen vigorous growth like this. Finished right on time. The plant was relatively short (grown indoors about 4 feet). The branches grew very vertically and needed to be tied up in weeks 6 and again in week 9. It yielded 6 oz of dry bud (weighed after 3 weeks of curing).
As far as the smoke is concerned, I have to say that after all of the hype, I expected Chemdog to just be another strong strain. I was SUPER pleasantly surprised to find out that the smoke is not only as strong as they say, but the body high is amazing. I smoke pretty much all day, every day, and I found Chemdog to be super relaxing, when compared to pretty much everything else out there that I have grown and smoked. It is able to punch through and get me really high, even when I have already smoked.
I’ve grown Skunk #1, White Widow, Northern Lights. No question which one puts you down. It is as close as a ‘narcotic’ high as I have found, and can leave you staring in space…even the next day. I believe it has long-lasting relief (even well after the high is gone).
